"Eternity Rites" fue el album debut de Dargaard, editado en 1998 a través de Draenor Productions. Fue compuesto y producido por Thaern (Abigor, Amestigon, Heidenreich, Dominion III) y Elisabeth Toriser (Abigor, Antichrisis, Dominion). Su sonido combina elementos neoclásicos con folk y música ambient oscura.

Dargaard - The Dissolution Of Eternity

Dargaard es una interesante banda neoclásica formada en 1997 por Thaern (Abigor, Amestigon, Heidenreich, Dominion III) con el fin de salir del género black metal, y experimentar con diferentes formas de expresarse. En 1998 ingresó Elisabeth Toriser (Abigor, Antichrisis, Dominion), quién asumió la responsabilidad sobre las melodías vocales. Entre ambos, logran un sonido es particular, sombrío, oscuro, orquestal e innovador en el género sobre todo por sus melodías orientadas al folk, construidas en base a sonidos de teclados.
"The Dissolution Of Eternity" es su tercer album, editado en 2001 a través de Napalm Records.
